Kaveh Methanol plant
Kaveh Methanol Company is a methanol production complex located on a 500 acres (200 hectare) site, Bandar Dayyer, alongside the Persian Gulf. It is the largest single train methanol plant in the world, with an annual production capacity of 2,300,000 metric tons of grade AA methanol.
The process is licensed by Casale and the detailed engineering design for the plant is accomplished by PIDEC.
Kaveh Methanol Plant is located on the coast of Persian Gulf, transferring methanol by pipelines to a dedicated SPM for ship loading.
The plant employed more than 2,000 skilled workers through contractors during the construction work and would be settled into full operations with around 750 full-time employees.
